Our shipping pricing/invoicing was a little clunky and we apologize. We are trying our hardest to pull ourselves up to the top of that ole eCommerce learning curve and repel down the other side. Many thanks to all of you patient MINTY shoppers. Now, we’ve updated our loveMINTYshop website and shipping is included or there are notes when we need to estimate shipping on specific products.

Gallery-quality textiles for your gallery wall

Prepare to gasp. These babies are just that good. We present a handful of framed, collector-quality vintage textiles. 

 

First, are 2 rectangular panels tricked out in the most fabulous mirrored frames. { Yes, mirrored — with brass trim. The frames alone are stunning! } The panels are intricate Mayan hand-loomed  wovens in traditional vibrant Guatemalan rainbow colors. The pinks, purples and blues are so right now that these framed art pieces would be a stunning addition to your gallery wall or could easily hold their own as a singular bold statement. All six framed textiles truly are collectors items. We found them at the estate of a world traveler who purchased them in the decades ago. { Read Nelya’s blog post here. } All are in excellent shape and have been well cared for. It’s Sunday! Join us for dim sum?

We are really excited about our latest offering. Take a bite of this delicious dumpling:

 

This sweet thing is an antique dim sum cart. Purchased from a Hong Kong antique shop in the 1980s, it’s outfitted with cubbies and containers to hold plates, napkins chopsticks, and savory goodies. There’s even a lantern with a wick. The brass cart fits nicely into a wooden base on wheels.

 

You’ve probably noticed that we have a thing for brass.
And this piece has sent us over the edge.
Practically glowing, it’s beautifully crafted in solid brass.

We think it would make a stunning petite bar car. Imagine it filled with your favorite spirits. Or use it beside your desk to corral office supplies or the in the bath for soaps and perfumes. It would also make a lovely little side table in the living room. No matter where you place it, it’s sure to be an eye-catching conversation piece.
